Foreword

    The Special Operation against IPR infringement and counterfeiting started in October 2010 and lasted till June 2011. Administrative enforcement authorities filed a total of 136,000 cases, concluded over 83,000 thousand cases which involved a total value of 4.47 billion yuan, and smashed over 8000 illegal operation sites. Public security authorities uncovered 12,602 cases involving a total value of .11.10032 billion yuan, smashed 9,801 illegal production sites, destroyed 3,500 criminal wholesale groups, and captured 23,367 criminal suspects.. Procuratorate authorities ratified arrests of 6020 persons in 3280 cases, and sued 4690 persons in 2420 cases. Courts accepted and processed over 730 infringement and counterfeiting criminal cases and made rulings of over 790 cases.

    Aimed to demonstrate the achievements of the Special Operation, this Exhibition consists of five halls. The Exhibition Hall 1 displays the decision-making and deployment of the Special Operation.
